Absentee voter ballots are available to registered voters for all elections. You can apply for an absentee ballot by mail or dowload and complete the application and return it to:

The deadline for applying for an absentee ballot by mail is the Saturday prior to Election Day by 2pm.

NOTICE TO CHALLENGERS FOR THE STATE PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2022
CITY OF SOUTHGATE, MICHIGAN
Notice is hereby given, that 1 (one) challenger from each qualified County approved political party and organization will be permitted in the Absent Voter Counting Board (AVCB). Two AVCB’s will be located at Southgate City Hall, 14400 Dix-Toledo Road, Southgate, MI 48195 and one AVCB will be located at the Southgate Veteran’s Memorial Library, 14680 Dix-Toledo Road, Southgate, MI 48195 on Election Day, Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Challengers serving at an AVCB are sequestered at the facility and cannot leave until the close of polls and processing and tabulation is complete. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office regarding AVCB challengers at 734-258-3014.
